A Walk in the Light

My morning walks past this spot are much more mentally invigorating than I had expected. It puts fun back into thinking about the world. And mysteriously, it imbues me with the confidence that I can comment on the affairs of the world just as astutely from a backwoods habitat as from a New York apartment – not that I would know for sure that that is a valid conclusion.

Whether the reader is much amused or enlightened by my writing down my thoughts is really beside the point. Just by writing them down, I relieve myself of these thoughts and the burdens of concern, and thus, I am able to start each and every day afresh with an eased and playful mind.

It is a rather lovely cycle that may in the long run be totally worthless – if life itself is worthless. I don't think so.
